Emma has spent over 25 years working within the NHS, in private practice and in business with adults, children and families. Her specialism and long-standing area of interest is working with neurodiversity – for example, working with neurodivergent individuals (self-identifying, diagnosed or curious), partners of neurodivergent individuals and parents of neurodivergent children.
Emma started her career in the NHS in the UK, working her way up to the team lead of one of the leading teams in the country for the diagnosis of autism and treatment of associated mental health difficulties. Before this, she spent seven years in an award-winning team within one of London’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. Her time in the NHS developed her resilience and adaptability, as well as the ability to work effectively with a wide range of different people and challenges.
Over the past 15 years, Emma has built a busy coaching and therapy private practice.
Emma has a curiosity and passion for understanding what drives and motivates people, and how profoundly this varies between individuals. She uses her experience as a psychologist to empower people to understand themselves, where they have become stuck, and work out how to get to where they want to be.
Using an individualized approach, Emma partners with clients to facilitate their understanding of where their natural areas of skill and difficulty lie, to help them find and create the conditions in which they can thrive.
